BWT Communications Review

Brooke Weston Trust has engaged the services of Athene Communications to review its current communications and assess whether key messages are reaching their target audiences.

The research consists of a survey that all 1,000 staff across the Trust’s 10 schools are currently completing, plus a series of focus groups gaining views from all levels of the organisation and beyond.

Chief Executive Dr Andrew Campbell said: ‘The Trust needs to gauge how its core values and messages are perceived; in schools, by parents, in the community and from a business and strategic perspective. We have a huge range of great news stories and activities that we wish to publicise by a variety of media, so this is a way of gauging what we are currently doing well and giving us the tools and data to improve in the future. We are delighted that Athene are working on this exciting and relevant research and look forward to seeing their conclusions later this year.’

Athene Communications has over 10 years’ experience in the education sector, with a particular specialism in supporting academy trusts and individual academies.

Managing Director Richard Astle said: 'As the Trust has grown to work with more members of staff, pupils, parents and communities its communication with key stakeholders has become increasingly valuable for its future success. We are delighted to be working in partnership with Brooke Weston Trust to form a deep understanding of their business and reputational objectives and help them to continue to improve.'
