BWT Pupils Take Part in the Kids of Steel Triathlon

Key Stage 2 pupils from some of our Trust’s Primary Schools were among more than 1,000 children who took part in the 10th Tata Kids of Steel Triathlon event last week.
On Wednesday 4th May our pupils took part in the multi-sports event that was hosted by Corby Borough Council in the centre of the town.
The children that participated in the event ran 500 metres, swim 70 metres and cycled 1Km.
They all swam at the International Swimming Pool, rode along a closed road in the town and ran on through parkland to the finish.
All the pupils were rewarded with medals and goodie bags for their efforts.
