About the Trust
The Brooke Weston Trust specialises in education and has a growing network of both primary and secondary schools. Our clear commitment is that every child in our care should have the best possible education.
More about the Trust
Our network includes schools in both the primary and secondary sectors with a geographical emphasis in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire.
Corby Business Academy has received national recognition for the value it adds to students' achievements at GCSE.
A recent in-depth analysis of official Department for Education data on all state-funded schools in England by SSAT, the national schools' membership organisation for improvement and collaboration, identified Corby Business Academy's success.
Brooke Weston was delighted to welcome the Secretary of State for Education, the Rt Hon Michael Gove MP, who toured the school, seeing lessons in progress and speaking to students and staff.
Mr Gove and Mr Tom Pursglove, the Conservative parliamentary candidate for Corby and East Northants, were welcomed by Principal Trish Stringer and Dr Andrew Campbell, CEO of the Brooke Weston Trust.
Ms Stringer, Principal of Brooke Weston Academy, has received a letter from Rt Hon David Laws MP congratulating her on the excellent performance of Brooke Weston pupils, particularly disadvantaged pupils.
The letter also explains that the results show that BW are amongst the 108 top performing schools in terms of the progress of pupil premium pupils.
