We are very proud of our Trust secondary schools which are inspirational places to work and learn. Since we began our Ambition for All campaign in September 2017 we have been posting all of our Secondary stories under the Ambition for All news category.
Our Trust secondary schools are holding a series of tours and events so prospective Year 7 students and their parents can visit and see the great range of facilities, subjects, sports and extra-curricular opportunities we offer. Here are details of what each school is doing. We hope you enjoy your tours.
Brooke Weston Academy teacher Mr Ray Chambers was featured in the BBC programme ‘Inside Out’ which focused on his achievement as the only UK finalist in this year’s Global Teacher Awards.
It has been a day of celebration across Brooke Weston Trust schools with Thomas Clarkson Academy posting their best GCSE results ever, Brooke Weston Academy students achieving an impressive set of results across the board while those at Corby Technical School are the very first cohort to sit exams. Results at Corby Business Academy and Kettering Science Academy have demonstrated that interventions put into place throughout the year are having a positive effect on results, particularly in individual subject areas.
Congratulations to students from across our Trust family of schools celebrating their GCSE results today. Thomas Clarkson Academy is celebrating its best ever set of results and the very first cohort at Corby Technical School will be collecting their GCSE results. With other success stories from Brooke Weston Academy, Corby Business Academy and Kettering Science Academy we will update our websites and Twitter feeds with more great news as we get it!
Mr Darren Hooper, Brooke Weston Academy’s DT technician, took part in a gruelling 24-hour bike ride alongside current national and world champion endurance cyclists.

Four high flying students from Thomas Clarkson Academy are celebrating after being accepted at prestigious Russell Group Universities, for the first time in the school’s history.
It has been another successful year of A Level results for schools across the Brooke Weston Trust with many students achieving top grades and university places, including a place at Cambridge for KSA student Joe Smallman and many others attending prestigious and Russell Group universities.
Congratulations to all our Sixth Form students from across our Trust family of schools who are celebrating their A2 and AS examination results today, and thanks to our teachers who have supported and guided them. Brooke Weston Academy’s Head of Belief, Philosophy and Ethics, Rachel Coombe, is making a long term dream come true by taking up a teaching post overseas.
Mr Troy Rutt and Miss Christina Kelly, both teachers from Brooke Weston Academy are looking forward to the challenges of their new roles overseas as Mr Rutt is moving to Malaysia while Miss Kelly will be teaching in Qatar.
