Gretton’s Christingle Service

Students and parents from Gretton Primary School gathered at St James’s Church in the village for the school’s annual Christingle service.

The service included traditional carols, readings, prayers and the lighting of 150 Christingle candles. Rev Peter Lloyd spoke about the symbolism of the Christingle before the staff and the school choir rounded off by singing ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’. Thank you to everyone who came along to support their children and thanks to all the students who read and sang so beautifully.
