Meet KSA's top performing GCSE students

Congratulations to all our students who are celebrating their GCSE exam results today. Here’s what some of our top performing students are doing next:

Bernard Dec gained 100% 9-7 grades in 10 subjects including 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, English Literature, Geography, German, Mathematics and Physics, an A* with Distinction in Further Mathematics and a 7 in English Language. He said: ‘I am very happy with my results. I was surprise to achieve a 9 in English Literature as I had not achieved more than a 6 in my mocks. I am now going to stay on at KSA for Sixth Form to study Chemistry, Computer Science, Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics as I am hoping to get the qualification to apply to Oxbridge and study Engineering at Cambridge. Thank you to all my teachers and the Senior Leadership Team at KSA for all their help and support.’

Owen

Owen Wilson gained 100% 9-7 grades in 10 subjects including 9s

in Biology, Chemistry, Drama, English Literature, Mathematics, 8s in English Language and Physics, and 7s in Geography and German. Owen is now going to study Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at Sixth Form in the hope of studying Medical Sciences and Medicine at Cambridge. He said: ‘I am extremely happy and cannot believe these amazing results.’

Dylan

Dylan Mutebi gained 100% 9-7 grades in 10 GCSEs including 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics, an 8 in PE, 7s in English Literature, French and Geography, and a 6 in English Language. He said: ‘I am very happy with my results and my English Literature and Further Mathematics were much better than I thought they would be. I am now hoping to study Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at Sixth Form.’

Monika Kwak gained 100% 9-6 grades in 10 subjects including 9s in English

Monika

Literature and History, an A* in Polish, an A in Business, 8s in Art, Combined science and English Language and 6s in German and Mathematics. Monika is now going to study German and Psychology and Art at Sixth Form. in She said: ‘I am surprised by my results. I was afraid of getting a low grade in maths but seeing all those 9s and 8s has made me overjoyed. Thank you to all my teachers for their help and support.’

Stefania

Stefania Lefter gained 100% 9-6 grades in 10 subjects including a 9 in Biology, 8s in Chemistry, Drama, English Language, Mathematics and Physics, 7s in English Literature and History, a 6 in French and a B in Further Mathematics. She said: I am very happy with my results. I am surprised I did so well in Biology and am very pleased overall. I am going on to study Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics at Sixth Form in the hope of studying medicine at university. I want to become a doctor. Thank you to all my teachers who I wouldn’t have been able to achieve these results without.’

Neryece Rawcliffe gained 100% 9-6 grades in nine subjects including a 9 in

English Literature, 8s in Art and Geography, 7s in Drama, English Language and Combined Science and 6s in Combined science, German and Mathematics. She said: ‘It hasn’t fully sunk in yet but I am extremely happy as I worked very hard. I am especially happy with my maths result. Thank you to my parents and all my teachers for all your help and support.’

Hannah

Hannah Godson gained 10 GCSEs including 8s in Chemistry and English Literature, an A in Further Mathematics, a B in Psychology, 7s in Biology, Physics, English Language and Mathematics and, 6s in German and History. Hannah is now going to stay at KSA to study her A levels in Chemistry, Mathematics and Psychology, in the hope of studying a psychology degree at university. She said: ‘I am really surprised about my Further Mathematics and English Literature results as I got two grades above what I thought I would I both subjects. Thank you to all my teachers for their help and support.’
