The organisation Teach For All, which is the global company that runs Teach First, approached the school to host one of their global delegate visits, called Global Learning Lab.

The delegates, from as far afield as America and Mexico, had a session focusing on Teaching and Learning touring classrooms with our senior leadership team before having a talk with Principal Pete Kirkbride about the Academy’s vision and values. The group then met CEO Dr Andrew Campbell who told them about the development of the Trust and the work that it does in the local community. 

Finally the delegates had a student-led tour of the building where they were able to ask questions and learn more about the student experience.
