Building Whole School Culture
School cultures do not happen by themselves. Correction- healthy school cultures do not happen by themselves. They must be consciously created, and that takes the collective effort of all staff, not just leaders. This session looks at the way that institutional norms, routines and consequences systems are designed and implemented throughout the entire community of the school. This course costs £100 per delegate.
Leading a Deep Dive in Reading
This session will unpick the process of an Ofsted deep dive in reading and will explore the associated evidence and documentation including:

The Role of the Subject Leader in Leading School Improvement
Subject Leadership is a challenging but rewarding role. This session will focus on what Ofsted are looking for from subject leaders, as well as how to motivate teams and organise your time as a leader.
Essential People Skills for Line Managers
The course will be made up of five sessions delivered online:
‘HR Basics’, ‘Managing Performance’, ‘Absence Management’, ‘Resolving Conflict’ and ‘Equality, Diversity and Inclusion’.
The session will ensure the participant can:
• Understand that effective Human Resource Management at line manager level is fundamental to organisational success and be aware of when HR expertise is required
• Be clear on roles, responsibilities and expectations of line managers at Brooke Weston Trust
• Have a suite of resources to help effectively manage your teams through a number of difficult scenarios
Leading Deep Dives
This session helps subject and senior leaders improve their evaluation work when looking at the curriculum as a whole or by subject. The session allows leaders to make the best use of inspection frameworks as school improvement tools.
Preparing for Leadership
This course runs over five sessions and takes a practical approach in helping you to develop your existing skills to become an effective middle leader in your school.
The course has been developed for teachers who currently have responsibility for co-ordinating a small team or those who aspire to lead a team. It will enable you to further understand the role of the middle leader and how to develop your own effective leadership.
You will carry out an action research project with the support of a coach and present your findings as a professional presentation to your Principal.
Developing Effective Pedagogy Through Instructional Coaching
This course will explore the fundamental elements of effective teaching pedagogy based on cognitive science and educational research in order to have maximum impact in the classroom. The theory and application of instructional coaching will underpin the delivery of ‘Teacher Education’ and development. It is recommended that delegates attend all sessions for maximum benefit.
Reviewing the impact of your PP strategy
This course will examine and evaluate the most effective ways of spending pupil premium. This will directly link to research and findings in schools, to maximise outcomes for disadvantaged pupils and to support them acquiring the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life

In this session, you will explore your role as a leader of school improvement, network with other school leaders and listen to a key note speaker to inspire you as a leader.
