Sports Week at Compass

Compass's Sport week began with the big write; students were tasked with writing a journalistic report about the staff vs students’ cricket match.

Steeler, the mascot from Northamptonshire County Cricket even made an appearance to celebrate the staff’s victory. All year groups across the week took part in projects relating to a sport or a sporting event.

Year 5 learnt about the Jamaican Bobsleigh team and even made their own bobsleighs, Year 1 learnt about healthy eating and tried new fruits and vegetables and Year 6 made foil sculptures of their moving sporting action.

On Wednesday and Thursday students from Years 1 to 6 went to Clip n Climb where resilience was truly shown. Both students and staff had an amazing time. Compass finished their Sports Week off with their Race for Life which everyone enjoyed.
