One of the key areas in our Brooke Weston Trust People Strategy, created in line with feedback from our colleagues, is ‘utilising technology to enhance and innovate’. Our goal is to use technological advancements to improve the efficiency of administrative tasks, support the reduction of workload, and improve the delivery of education across the Trust. By combining our Trust values of ‘High Expectations’ and ‘Working Together,’ we aim to use technology to support and improve the daily experiences of our staff and pupils.
Last week, Brooke Weston Trust held a series of special events to honour its dedicated employees who have served for ten years or more. This was the inaugural ‘Brooke Weston Trust 10 Years Plus Club' celebration, which took place over three days, bringing together staff from various schools within the Trust to recognise their commitment and hard work.
Peckover Primary School recently marked the end of National Sports Week with their inaugural Colour Run. Organised by PE lead Tom Driver, the event was a resounding success, filled with laughter, excitement, and vibrant bursts of colour.
“Be prepared to start an exciting journey!”

Earlier this year, we launched our new three-year People Strategy. The People Strategy was developed with our employee survey and feedback from colleagues in mind and sets out a clear and exciting action plan with achievable outcomes and deliverable projects. It’s underpinned by our ‘ambition for all’ ethos and our dedication to ensuring that equity, diversity and inclusion are at the forefront of everything we do.
In this case study, we are going to explore the work that has been completed so far in the strand of the strategy called ‘High Quality and Accessible CPD for Everyone’. Our people are our most important asset to transform educational performance across our communities while providing opportunities for personal development. Inspiring, developing and retaining our talented team is vital to delivering our Trust mission. It is testament to each and every one of our employees and their commitment that all our schools are designated as ‘Good’ – providing students in our care with their ‘tickets for life’.
