This year marks the 30th anniversary of National School Meal Week (NSMW), a nationwide event that highlights the importance of healthy, wholesome school meals. For the first time, Brooke Weston Trust (BWT) is proud to join in the celebrations.
Year 5 children from Thrapston Primary School, which has recently joined our BWT family of schools, were treated to a cosmic visit by mobile planetarium company ‘WonderDome’ recently.
A well-respected employee of Brooke Weston Trust, CCF Leader, Nigel Barrett, has been awarded the prestigious HM Lord-Lieutenant’s ‘Certificate for Meritorious Service’.
Colleagues from Thrapston Primary School, were visited by senior members of our Trust yesterday, as part of Andrew Campbell’s CEO Roadshow – which began at the start of the academic year, to meet everyone face to face in each of our 11 schools and re-share his vision and the goals for BWT over the coming year, reinforcing what makes BWT so special.

Oakley Vale Primary School is celebrating a very positive Ofsted (ungraded) monitoring visit. The resulting report has maintained the school’s ‘Good’ rating and inspectors noted evidence of practice they would consider to be outstanding.
Ofsted inspectors praised the school across a number of areas, from the quality of education to the leadership and management, highlighting the behaviour & attitudes of pupils as ‘excellent’.
