A level students at Kettering Science Academy are celebrating after achieving an overall pass rate of 100%, with a number of students securing places at some of the top Russell group universities in the country and one student has even secured a place at Harvard.
Students and staff from across the Trust are celebrating their A Level exam results today with many achieving straight A* or A grades. Most are going on to further education with our highest performers destined for Russell Group universities with one achieving a fully funded place at Harvard, a first for Kettering Science Academy.
Brooke Weston Trust's CCF cadets had an action packed annual camp at Barry Budden near Carnoustie in Scotland. The 37 cadets took part in activities and sports including range shooting and mountain biking during their week-long adventure. There were about 400 cadets from different schools on camp and our contingent combined with 30 cadets from Montsaye Academy to form C Company.

Five students from Brooke Weston Academy were selected to take part in a work experience programme at Northamptonshire Police, when they saw many different aspects of the Force’s operation, including the Dog Section and Force Control Room.
A group of GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition students explored a street food market and visited the Scoop ice cream exhibition at The British Museum of Food on a recent trip.
Brooke Weston Academy has been thanked by a South African school after it raised £1,400 to buy much-needed educational and sporting resources.

Congratulations to two young staff members from Peckover Primary who have just graduated with degrees in Applied Education Studies. They completed their part-time degrees alongside full-time work as Teaching Assistants at the school.
Oakley Vale Primary School's celebration of the life of their Vice Principal, Nikki McDonald was very special with poems, songs and tributes from students and staff.
Peckover’s newly completed gardens each have an elaborate planting theme specially planned to complement the curriculum.
Well done to all the staff and students at our Trust primary schools whose SATs results have shown year on year consistency for our highest performing schools, while others have demonstrated a trend of marked improvement.

The playground at Oakley Vale Primary School turned into a sea of bubbles during a day of special activities to commemorate its much-valued teacher and colleague, Nikki McDonald, who died suddenly last month.
