Congratulations to Corby Business Academy’s Senior Concert Band that has been selected to perform at the National Music for Youth finals, by the judges of the regional competition, that took place in March. The group will perform alongside a very select few of the country’s top musicians, at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall in July.

Louise Chapman and Paul Twamley both finished the London Marathon and exceeded their fundraising totals after spending months training and preparing for the event. It was Louise’s first ever marathon and, a year ago, she hadn’t even run a step! For Paul it was his second London Marathon and he beat his previous time, despite the sweltering heat on the day.
Well done to Year 6 student Benjamin Hunter who is the youngest student in his karate club ever to attain the level of Shodan (black belt).
Fresh air, exercise and imaginative play are so important for our students and two of our schools are in the process of updating parts of their outside space.
