Celebrating GCSE Success Across Our Trust
As our Year 11 students receive their GCSE results today, we celebrate the achievements across all our schools.
These results are more than just grades -they reflect our Trust’s commitment to ambition for all.
Andy Burns, Director of Education at Brooke Weston Trust, said:
“Today, our GCSE students can feel genuinely proud of what they’ve achieved. Over these last few years, they’ve explored new subjects, built friendships, and found out what excites them – with their confidence shining through. Everyone across our schools from teachers to support staff – has helped create those ‘tickets for life’ by opening up new opportunities and encouraging each student to aim high. I’m grateful to the families who’ve been cheering them on all along. Our Trust community isn’t just focused on results; we believe in ambition for all, and I can’t wait to see where this first big set of results takes them next.”
- At Kettering Science Academy, Raiyan Elahi earned ten grade 9s and will continue with maths and sciences, alongside Nathan Raszeja and others who achieved top grades. Many students will stay on in the sixth form or pursue vocational courses at colleges, such as Lucy Webb at Loughborough College and Lukas Aleksa-Turney studying Sport and Exercise Science.
- At Thomas Clarkson Academy, students like Daniel Brightey and James Brightey achieved multiple grade 9s and are choosing to continue their education at the academy’s sixth form. School leaders recognise the students’ resilience, mutual support, and growth beyond academics.
- At Brooke Weston Academy in Corby, students including Dylan Cully and Nicola Gawlowska achieved strong GCSE results. Some, such as Evie Dowsett and Finlay Barnard, secured apprenticeships and scholarships, demonstrating the wide range of opportunities their achievements have opened up beyond the school.
- Corby Technical School highlights top achievers like Max K and Kinga K with multiple grade 9s and notes strong results in technical subjects, especially Engineering, where several students earned the highest Distinction star. The school takes pride in preparing the most employable students in Corby, supporting confident, capable young people ready to take their next steps.
- Corby Business Academy students have made excellent progress, with standout achievements from Isla T, Zoe B, Max B, and others across academic and vocational pathways. The Senior Vice-Principal praises their resilience and teamwork during challenging times and highlights each student’s character and wider achievements.
As we celebrate the outstanding results of our top achievers, we also take a moment to recognise and be proud of every student’s journey. Success is not just about the highest grades, but the progress each individual has made. Your journey is unique, and your future is full of possibilities.
Across Brooke Weston Trust, we celebrate ambition for all. Together, these results highlight a talented group of students, with each school supporting them to secure their own tickets for life and open doors to exciting new opportunities. The Trust community looks ahead with pride and optimism for all their futures.
