The new Trust Directors of Subject have met for the first time to plan a cohesive programme to offer support, share best practice and drive improvement in key subject areas across our Trust schools.

Well done to Corby Business Academy's Senior Concert Band after being selected to perform at the National Music for Youth Finals. The group will perform, alongside a very select few of the country’s top musicians, at the Birmingham Symphony Hall in July.

Congratulations to Mrs Chris Stewart who has recently taken up the role of Brooke Weston Trust’s Senior Finance and HR Manager. As part of a Central Team restructure, Chris’s newly-created role is to liaise with the school business managers and Principals across all ten schools, ensuring strong financial management and that they are all finance and HR compliant.
Brooke Weston Trust’s CEO Dr Andrew Campbell saw diverse aspects of life at Corby Business Academy on the latest phase of his fact-finding tour. Although Dr Campbell was Principal at the Academy for several years and was instrumental in its start-up, he was interested to see its progress to date and keen to hear the opinions of students and staff on how it could develop still further.
Thanks to Year 6 students Kunashe Pasirai and Julia Wasilewska who kindly showed Dr Andrew Campbell around Oakley Vale Primary School on the first of his ‘CEO on tour’ series of visits.
