Combined Cadet Force School Staff Instructor and Adventure Training Leader

Salary:                     £24,000 per annum [Full Time and Permanent]

Location:                 Northamptonshire, Corby.

The Brooke Weston Trust wishes to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified individual as School Staff Instructor (SSI); to support the Commanding Officer of Brooke Weston Trust Combined Cadet Force (CCF) to establish and implement the development of the CCF (Army) and Adventure Training across the Trust.

The role of the CCF SSI will be to ensure the effective operation of all aspects of the support service to the CCF and to establish Trust-wide coordination of Adventure Training (AT) opportunities at both primary and secondary phases (including aspects of the Duke of Edinburgh award and “Forest Schools” schemes).

The successful candidate will be committed to developing the very highest standards for the CCF through outstanding support and demonstration. The candidate will be well qualified with recent training experience and be able to add significant value to the CCF and AT programmes.

The CCF contingent HQ is based in Corby, where currently Corby Technical School is acting as the hub site, with the other Trust Academies travelling weekly to the hub site for parade activities (for further details please contact the Trust.)

We are looking for:

A self-motivated SSI & AT Leader who will use their initiative to contribute effectively to the development of the programmes of work across the Trust.

An individual who is passionate about CCF and AT; with the ability to think creatively to generate the growth and engagement of CCF and AT with both students and adults across the Trust.
