Beanfield’s Caeden features on BBC website

Beanfield student Caeden Thomson has featured on the BBC website in a film about how lockdown restrictions are affecting his cerebral palsy treatment.

BBC Look East visited the school initially to film Caeden as he is planning a fundraising walk up Ben Nevis to raise £8,000 for the NHS. That filming was never broadcast as the pandemic hit and now Caeden’s challenge has been put back to September. The BBC got in touch with Caeden’s mum, Lisa, to find out how Caeden and the family is coping during lockdown. She told them how, although he can no longer visit hospital for physiotherapy treatment, she carries out exercises with him at home.

The interview with Caeden and his mum is available to view here.

The Northants Evening Telegraph also ran a story on Caeden's training which is available here

Caeden has a YouTube channel which is regularly updated here.

His Instagram feed is @caedenthomson
