de Capell Brooke Family
Hugh de Capell Brooke was the founding sponsor of Brooke City Technology College, later re-named Brooke Weston City Technology College (see the Garfield Weston Foundation). It was Hugh's determination, vision and passion that was the driving force in bringing high quality, innovative state funded education to Corby and the surrounding area.
Hugh, who died in 2014, was a strong supporter of the College since it was established, taking an active interest in its progress and development; initially as a CTC and in more recent times as an academy at the heart of a multi-academy trust.
Hugh served as Chairman of the Trustees of the College for many years and today the wider Trust continues to benefit from the ongoing support of the de Capell Brooke family and the active involvement of Hugh's son Alexander de Capell Brooke as trustee and board member.
