Corby Technical School

Corby Technical School earned a ‘Good’ rating across all areas in its most recent Ofsted inspection (March 2025), reflecting its welcoming, inclusive environment and high aspirations for every student.

The school, opened by the Brooke Weston Trust in 2012, offers an academic curriculum with a strong technical bias. This approach suits young people who have already shown a strong aptitude for and interest in technical subjects like engineering, electronics, and computer programming.

The school works in close partnership with local companies to offer significant elements of work experience relevant to students’ choice of career. We ensure that our students are fully prepared to move into further study at university or on high-level apprenticeships in technical industries, including engineering, science, architecture and computing.

Students and staff alike have the common purpose of success and achievement. The aim is to develop confident learners, who take ownership of their learning and are proud of their achievements. The highest quality teaching, coupled with links to major employers and a technical-based curriculum, ensures high levels of achievement and opportunities to help all students succeed.
