Welcome from the CEO

ACA

Welcome to our website, where you’ll find a wealth of information about our core values, the impact we make on children’s lives, and the brilliant staff who make it all happen.

As Chief Executive of Brooke Weston Trust, I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you.

Brooke Weston Trust (BWT) is a family of over 9,000 students and 1,600 staff across six primary and six secondary schools in North Northamptonshire and North Cambridgeshire. Established as a Trust in 2012, our founding school, Brooke Weston Academy (formerly Brooke Weston City Technology College), opened its doors in 1990. From pre-school to sixth form, we have a proud track record of delivering high-quality learning and exceptional personal development opportunities for our young people.

Thank you for visiting our website. I invite you to explore and discover more about our history, vision, and the outstanding opportunities we offer to both students and staff.

Chief Executive - Andrew Campbell

Ambition for All

The majority of our schools are sponsor academies and free schools, established in areas of disadvantage. Our mission is to transform educational performance in the communities where we work through our long-term commitment to improve student achievement whilst providing opportunities for personal development. At the heart of this mission is our core value of ‘Ambition for All’. Each Brooke Weston Trust school is unique and we are proud of their individuality as we all work together within a shared set of family values. We see ourselves as siblings, not clones.

Our aim is simple; to ensure that every child, no matter their background or starting point, leaves us with the necessary qualifications, skills and personal resilience to live a fulfilling life. It is our job to provide the academic and personal ‘tickets for life’ that will make this a reality.

What is it like to work at Brooke Weston Trust?

We ask ourselves every day: ‘Is this good enough for my own child?’ if it isn’t, it needs to improve, whatever it is, whether that is the quality of the classroom experience, leadership at any level, the school meals we provide or any other facilities in our schools. We can and do can ask this of each other because we understand the importance of caring enough to challenge each other enough.

Our schools, our Teaching School Hub and our experienced Trust central team work together to deliver on our mission and engage with a wide range of other partners to create opportunity for our students.

Having worked in the Corby, Kettering and latterly Wisbech regions for 30 years, I know the real difference BWT has made in delivering hope and opportunity to young people within these communities. It is the privilege of my life to lead the Trust and I am inspired by our students and staff every day.

Our family of schools

The Brooke Weston Trust is a family of primary and secondary schools in Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire. All our schools work hard to provide the best educational opportunities and life chances for the young people in their care. As a Trust we seek to ‘make a difference’ and are proud to work with children of all backgrounds and abilities.
