Our Mission, Vision & Values
At Brooke Weston Trust, we are united by a shared commitment to transforming lives through education. Our schools work together to provide every child, regardless of background, with the knowledge, confidence and skills to thrive.
Our Vision
To equip every student with the qualifications, skills and self-belief - their ‘tickets for life’ - by creating inclusive and ambitious learning communities where every child, regardless of background, can unlock their potential and shape their future.
Our Mission
Our mission is to transform educational performance in communities where we work through our long-term commitment to improve student achievement and remove barriers to learning while providing opportunities for personal development.
Our Values
Each of our five values shapes the culture across all Brooke Weston Trust schools:

We believe in the importance of a relentless determination to succeed. Across our schools, this is brought to life through meaningful opportunities that inspire ambition and aspiration, such as Year 5 students engaging with local employers to explore future career pathways and Sixth Form mentors supporting younger pupils to set goals and work towards achieving them. Our students are supported to fully realise their potential and to lead rewarding lives. We value every student equally and are committed to ensuring that no one is left behind.
We have high expectations of every student and staff member across our Trust. This is demonstrated through initiatives such as trust-wide STEM projects, including our carbon-capture work, and opportunities like debate clubs and structured speaking activities that build confidence, literacy and critical thinking. We believe in the values of professionalism, hard work and commitment, and everyone is clear about the high standards expected of them and the trust placed in their role within our schools.
Our staff share an absolute commitment to ensuring every child receives the best possible education. This commitment is reflected in a strong culture of professional learning, with teachers engaging in peer observations, Trust-wide workshops, coaching and evidence-based training to continually refine inclusive and effective practice. We are guided by a simple but powerful question in everything we do: Is this good enough for my child?
As a Trust, our schools work closely together to support one another, develop innovative ideas and share best practice. This collaboration is brought to life through initiatives such as reading buddy programmes that connect primary and secondary pupils to build confidence and fluency, alongside cross-Trust networks where staff share curriculum expertise and resources. By working together, we multiply our collective potential and create a strong, inclusive community for both students and staff.
We believe in developing not just great students, but great citizens. At Brooke Weston Trust, we actively encourage our young people to make a positive difference in their communities and the wider world. Through acts of kindness, social action, leadership opportunities, and real-world learning, we empower students to contribute meaningfully to society—now and in the future.
We ask ourselves two powerful questions every day:
“Is this good enough for my own child?”
– Ensuring high standards and relentless focus on quality.
“Am I caring enough to challenge enough?”
– Balancing support and high expectations to unlock potential.
These principles guide every decision, every lesson and every student interaction.
How We Deliver Our Mission
Our commitment to inclusion is demonstrated through specialist SEN units, mentoring schemes and targeted support programmes that help every student overcome barriers to learning.
To strengthen literacy and reading, we offer debate clubs, use assistive technology, and run reading buddy schemes that build confidence and fluency across all ages.
We invest in professional practice and pedagogy by encouraging peer observations, providing coaching opportunities, and collaborating through the Northamptonshire Teaching School Hub to ensure our staff continually develop and share best teaching methods.
